There is an imminent new beginning, be it a journey, or a new phase of life.Â
The oncoming changes in your life promise a positive outcome.Â
You are now in a position to engage successfully in many different activities.
Ready yourself. Be open to all possibilities.
You will leave much behind.Â
What areas of your life are changing?
Are you ready to let go of the old and ring in the new?
What actions can you take to best prepare yourself for this upcoming adventure?Â
I trust my own will and power.
I am putting my life in order.
I am ready for my journey toward success.
The Self is the rider in the chariot of the body, guided by the intellect as charioteer, drawn by the senses as powerful horses, controlled by way of the mind serving for the reins. Thus runs the vehicle over the course of experience.

01. The Chariot personifies determination and conquest over adversity. This is a card of action, of movement forward toward the manifestation of goals. Drive and momentum will be required to attain success and guarantee victory.
The Chariot asks for commitment and discipline. Objectives should firmly be set, in order for the Chariot to remain balanced, wheels on track and heading in the correct direction.
This card also signifies travel, both in the literal sense and along the path of inner progress. This is not the moment for passivity. It is time for conviction and persistence, for diligence in pushing past obstacles. The Charioteer forgoes the easy route, ignoring detours in favor of the hard but rewarding road.
02. The Chariot is an emblem of personal maturity.
It shows us the developed ego; the lessons of the early cards have been absorbed, the adolescent period of searching and self-creation has been passed, and now we see the mature adult, successful in life, admired by others, confident and content with himself, able to control feelings, and above all, to direct the will.
His power is subordinate to his will. His hands hold no reins. His strong character alone controls the opposing forces in life.

03. The Chariot is a card of willpower, determination, and strength. You have discovered how to make decisions in alignment with your values, and now you are taking action on those decisions. You have set your objectives and are now channeling your inner power with a fierce dedication to bring them to fruition. When you apply discipline, commitment and willpower to achieve your goals, you will succeed..
04. If you are curious about whether you have what it takes to achieve your goal, The Chariot is a sign that you will be successful so long as you keep your focus and remain confident in your abilities.
You need to use your willpower and self-discipline to concentrate on the task at hand. You can’t cut corners or take the easy route. Instead, see this endeavor as a test of your strength and conviction, and recognize that victory is within reach, but it’s up to you to follow through, overcoming challenges and gaining victory through maintaining control of your surroundings.

05. The Chariot asks you to maintain focus, confidence, and determination through a process that will be full of winding turns and detours.
If you have a plan or a project that you seem not to be sure about, the Chariot shows that you should pursue the plan with a structured and ordered approach. Be bold in expressing your desires and laying down your boundaries. You need to have faith in yourself and know fundamentally who you are and what you stand for.

06. The reversed Chariot can indicate both your aggression and your lack of willpower.
It may either be saying that you are lacking in focus, motivation or direction, or that you are being warped by your obsession with your goals. In the former case, let the Chariot be a reminder that you can emerge victorious as long as you can gather the courage to do so. In the latter, your impulses may be another factor that you must rein in.
To see the Chariot in reverse may suggest that you need to come to terms with the fact that you cannot always be in control. The key is to look at what you can control and what you cannot. Do not allow yourself to worry about what is out of your grasp. Instead, focus your energies on what is in your control.
07. The Chariot reversal meaning can also be an indication of lack of control and direction over your life. You are at the mercy of the opposing forces and the obstacles, and cannot seem to muster the strength to take over. It should serve as a wake-up call and reminder that you will need to tighten some loose ends and take charge of your destiny.
08. Before taking action, The Chariot Reversed ask you to focus your energy and attention on your internal processes, such as self-discipline, inner determination, and personal commitment. You can use visualization and meditation to make sure your energy aligns with your goals.
