Indication:

You are being called to drop your “worm’s eye view”.
Discernment that springs from real insight is constructive and free of dogma.
Criticism based on deep perception can be motivating and inspiring, rather than condemning.

Question to Ask:

What deeper insights can you gain from an objective examination of the past?
What inner calling do you need to pay attention to?
Are you ready to embrace your higher purpose?

Affirmation:

The more I know that I don’t know, the closer I am to the Divine.

A new phase of life is coming into fruition. You knowingly take the next step for yourself, as you have risen from a cloudy coffin of uncertainty into a bright balance of the morale within. Momentum has been accumulated, and you have been granted the opportunity to act in exercising your goodness and abilities.

01. Judgement signifies a moment of reflection and evaluation. This card asks for a critique of past actions and an objective understanding of self. Judgement does not punish; instead, it offers the opportunity for balanced self-assessment and absolution. It demands inner honesty and clarity of motive in all actions moving forward. It also signifies an awakening, a refined sense of direction, a positive change that affects the future outcome. Judgement reminds one of choice and consequence, the importance of clear decision-making in the moments where the path splits in two. It calls for a higher level of consciousness in service of the greater good. Judgement purges, cleanses, and renews.

02. Judgement indicates not a change of circumstances, but a new consciousness, one directly acquainted with the truth through merging of the self with the forces of life. There is a force greater than ourselves that is leading and calling us. Judgment is not simply on the meaning of our own life, but on the true nature of existence, and the way in which we, and all being are a part of it. There is no personal liberation. Each human being is part of the human race and therefore responsible for the development of the race as a whole. We all have ‘forgotten’ our true identities and have become separated from our ‘parents’. When we find and create our true selves, we will find ourselves at the center of the universe, for the center is everywhere.

03. The Judgement card is calling you to rise up and embrace a higher level of consciousness for the service of the Highest Good. All the pieces of the puzzle of your life are finally coming together to form one, unified picture of your life story. This integration has healed deep wounds, and you are now able to put the past behind you. You have found your absolution, having cleared any wrongdoings or regrets, and releasing any guilt or sadness about the past. This purging process will leave you refreshed and ready to take on any new challenges. You have let go of the past, and it’s time to move forward with a new life.

04. Judgement indicates that you need to make a life-changing decision, but unlike those associated with the logical Justice card, this decision requires a blend of intuition and intellect. It is through self-reflection that we can have a clearer and objective understanding about where we are now, and what we need to do in order to grow as humans and to be true to ourselves and our needs. This can mean making small changes to your daily life or making huge changes that not only affect you, but also the people close to you.

05. Judgement shows up when you are close to reaching a significant stage in your journey. You have reviewed and evaluated your past experiences and have learned from them. You may find comfort in sharing your struggles with others within a group environment. There will be others who have experienced something similar and who can show you the way to freedom from your troubles. Let them guide you and help you rise together.

06. Judgement reversed can indicate that you doubt and judge yourself too harshly, hindering you from fulfilling your highest potential, missing the opportunities that are awaiting you. To overcome your inner critic, see it as a separate part of yourself, hear it out and acknowledge its fears, and offer assurances that everything will be just fine. With focused discipline, you can break the cycle of self-criticism and replace it with more positive messages of what is possible.
07. Judgement Reversed calls for a period of reflection and self-evaluation. Through meditation or quiet contemplation, you may arrive at a deeper understanding of the universal themes weaving throughout your life. You may have kept them secret or hidden, because you fear how others may judge you. To clear these past mistakes and regrets, and any associated guilt or shame, work on your self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, and self-love. By giving yourself forgiveness and permission to move forward, the mistakes that you have made in the past become the valuable learning tools to help you move though life.
08. Judgement reversed can also indicate that the universe is trying to send you a message to make some important changes, but you’re ignoring the Call. Maybe you’re afraid of the sacrifice you will need to make to heed the call, or you’re worried you are not ready. It’s time to push past your inner fears and self-doubt, and trust that the universe has your back. It is calling you for a reason.
